Playgrounds of Farnham

Below are all the playgrounds around Farnham.  A lot of them have been refurbished recently.  Worth a special mention is Gostrey Meadows in the centre of town, by the river with a sandpit and a wide range of climbing frames, swings and slides to cater for the very young but also older kids.

One out of town playground also worth knowing about is the King George V playing fields, Sycamore Road, North Camp, GU14 7JU.   Plenty of free parking, vast open fields for ball games and a very comprehensive modern playground which can amuse children for a long time.  Good, free, fresh-air fun.  This is also a good place to watch the aircraft come over that land at Farnborough Airport. (Superb for the air show)  Often there is an ice cream van parked up for that special after-play treat.
