**Still to be updated** Shopping in Central Farnham for kids is, we are sad to say, disappointing. There are very few clothes shops and toy shops to chose from. In our Central Farnham page we have scraped together every shop that sells children's stuff. Please click Let Us Know if we missed anything. Further a field shopping for children becomes much more abundant, with many of the high street names such as The Early Learning Centre and Mothercare within a 10 to 15 minute car drive. (Guildford, Aldershot, Farnborough) Shopping On the Net gives you great choice and probably the best prices. Big bulky items can be ordered in the comfort of your own home and delivered (sometimes the next day) to your door. There are thousands of web sites supplying baby gear, equipment and toys. We are only showing a good example with sites that we have used ourselves. Don't forget to take delivery charges into consideration when you compare prices.
The Cook Shop, Downing Street
Enchanted Wood, East Street Wide selection of toys including lots of Thomas stuff! Also, slides, paddling pools, ball zones and sand pits. The only toy store in Farnham where you can find tv-advertised toys from the likes of Mattel, Hasbro and Vivid, alongside the more traditional toy brands such as Galt, Playmobil, Brio, Plan and PinToy. Also a few clothes and shoes available.

Halfords, Farnham Retail Park, Guildford Road A new upstairs section (Lift available) has just opened with a "kidszone". Usual car seats and accessories but a better selection of bikes, tricycles and now even some buggies at very reasonable prices

Squires Garden Centre, Badshot Lea A very wide selection of art and crafty type things as well as a toy and book section for all ages.

We like the Argos site especially for bulky items that it would be hard to carry to the car with a pushchair as well. Also there is a handy search and reserve facility where you can search for your item in various local branches and reserve online for later pick up.
Has a compare facility where you can check the dimensions, prices, functionality of several makes and models through a table to help you decide what's the best value for money.
With second hand baby stuff never really being worn to the limit, e bay is a great place to barter for nearly new equipment. Particularly things like pushchairs. And then of course there is all that gear in the loft that could be turned into cash....
