Farnham Park, Farnham Comments: There is a 3 mile (approx) hard pathway circuit walk which is accessible to pushchairs. The walk passes 2 play areas: The large adventure playground and a smaller enclosed area with 2 swings and some rockers. Superb way to get fit and enjoy the ruggedness of the the park. (Park in the golf course car park (at the very top of Castle Street), walk past the tea rooms and toilets on your left then either turn right or left at the end. Either route takes you round the circuit.)
Gostrey Meadows, Farnham Comments: A bit more than just a playground this area is in Central Farnham (opposite the police station) A comprehensive play area plus lovely surroundings for a picnic.
Top Frensham Ponds, Frensham Comments: When the weather is good this is a fantastic place for a runabout. It really does feel like being on the beach. The water is shallow. (When we went there were kids swimming and even someone on a Lilo!) Take a bucket and spade and make castles in the sand, or take a net to fish for things in the water. Car parking charges on Sundays. (Directions: After the Mariners and a small green take a right signposted to Frensham Pond Hotel - the big pond car park is signposted on the left) Also the little pond has lots to offer but not quite as beach like.
Stoke Park, Guildford Comments: Recommended by a parent, this is a lovely area. There is a huge paddling pool and good play area, sensory garden, plenty of open space. Closest place to park for free is Guildford College car park (but pretty busy during college opening hours) and walk through.
Top California Country Park, Finchampstead, Comments: A bit further a field but worth the visit for the price of parking. There is a huge paddling pool, a large adventure play area both in a secure enclosed area, a restaurant with highchairs and a small corner with a toys, a lake with lots of wild life, bring bread for the numerous geese, swans and ducks. Lots of trails to walk around.
Frimley Lodge, Frimley Green Comments: Large play area and plenty of open fields for ball games and cycle rides. Miniature railway rides available at peak times.
